DoIT Sports Management enters Hockey India League as owners of Mumbai franchisee

New team for HIL Season 3
Mumbai franchisee of Hockey India League, which was earlier in the hands of Dabur Group has now been taken over by Mumbai based sports management company DoIT Sports Management Pvt. Ltd.

Hockey India League management were looking at new owners post Dabur Group's withdrawal and decided to hand over the franchisee to DoIt Sports Management.

Speaking on the occasion, Hockey India League chairman, Narinder Batra said, "We welcome DoIT Sports Management on board the Hockey India League. As they already have immense knowledge in the sports arena, we are confident
that they will have a positive impact on this season’s Hockey India League. They are a young and creative company with exciting new ideas for the region and are looking to contribute towards the development and growth of Hockey in the country.”

DoIT Sports Management founder Radha Kapoor said: “We have always strived towards promotion of sports. This franchise in HIL will be an opportunity to be associated with a game which has millions of fans. With so many people attached to this game, we did not want to miss out on this opportunity and are confident this endeavour will enable us to support the game in the region.We will also aim to identify young talent through our various initiatives.”

DoIT Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. is a part of DoIT Creation Group with the aim of promoting sports in India. The group founded by Radha Kapoor a creative entrepreneur are also the owners of Pro Kabaddi League team Dabang Delhi which finished 6th out of 8 teams in the tournament.
