Australia beat England 4-0 in CT final

CT winners for last three years
Australia has defeated England 4-0 in the final of Champions Trophy with goals from Luke Doerner, Des Abbot, Jason Wilson and captain Jamie Dwyer. With this win they have now supremacy over other hockey teams by winning World Cup and Champions Trophy. This is their third consecutive CT win.
Australia had come with relatively inexperienced side in the tournament, but their performance told about the depth and the bench strength of Australian hockey. First goal came in 6th minute through a penalty corner by Luke Doerner. After the first goal, Australia went on the offensive and scored another goal in very next minute through Des Abbot.
England were looking out of sorts in the early stages of the game and they had to pay for that. They did pick their game up and started some good moves but the Australians defended well to deny England the goals. Australian keeper Nathan Burgers made some good saves in the match.
Meanwhile, Australian attacks could not be stopped and in 13th minute Jason Wilson scored the goal to make the scoreline 3-0.
The match was delayed by an hr in the 2nd half when heavy rains made it impossible to play. But after commencement Australians carried on from where they had left. Attacks gave dividends when Jamie Dwyer scored a goal in 50th minute of the match to make the scoreline 4-0.
This win justified the number 1 ranking of the team and it also gave a boost before the CWG games, where the major competitor for the team will be England again( not India).
